My Perfect Cousin 2019 is Little Pomona’s follow up to their 2018 bottle Enter the Dragon – both made with the Japanese market in mind. Funky on the nose but this blows away & underneath it’s all the trademark flavours you’d expect from the intense tannic varieties used – Dabinett (68%) from Castle Fruit Farm, Gloucestershire; Yarlington Mill (23%) from Ashperton, Herefordshire; a field blend (11%) of apples from an old, unnamed orchard in Shropshire Herefordshire.

Holding notes of orange & peach, clove spice & black tea tannins. It’s cider that loves fatty, spicy foods – barbecue, burgers & street food is the vibe! Or Mediterranean-style roast peppers with olives.
