Kulmbacher. It’s not for nothing that Kulmbach is known as the secret capital of beer. A 3,000-year-old beer amphora, found in the Kulmbacher Land and on display in the Bavarian Brewery Museum, is considered the oldest evidence of brewing in Germany. The archives show that the craft of brewing continued to enjoy a special status in the margrave town. Based on this tradition, we see it as our task to preserve the craft and the Bavarian Purity Law while at the same time continually developing the brewing industry. That’s why we pay attention to the greatest possible quality care and environmental compatibility in our brewing process – for a natural and sustainable future.
