Hedgehog. Alarmingly hedgehogs have reduced by a third in Britain in the last ten years and they need our help. Urban green spaces have become ever more important for hedgehogs so People’s Trust for Endangered Species and the British Hedgehog Preservation Society launched www.HedgehogStreet.org to help people make their neighbourhoods hedgehog-friendly.

This beer celebrates the hedgehog’s major characteristics with an interesting meld of malt and hops. Their rummaging behaviour is represented by an earthy nose and flavour created by roasted malt. A hoppy, bitter and slightly prickly finish imitate their protective spines and complete the taste. An Auburn Ale with an Autumnal feel.
