Saison

A complex Belgian “farmhouse” beer with a refreshing and often slightly funky character. The flavour profile of a Saison is highly distinctive, featuring a blend of fruity, spicy, and sometimes earthy notes, largely derived from the unique yeast strain used in fermentation. Common flavours include pepper, clove, citrus, and subtle herbal or floral hints. The malt character is light and bready, with a dry finish and moderate carbonation that contributes to its effervescence. Some Saisons may have a mild tartness or slight funkiness, due to wild yeast or bacteria introduced during fermentation.
