Les Sucettes a L’Aunis 2020. Julien’s Pineau d’Aunis from old vines on the storied vineyard of Roche Blanche, is always a delight and this vintage is no different. He gives a ten day whole bunch maceration before elevage in tank. Bright fruit, a lovely peppery edge and wonderful, vivid fruit. This year it’s blended with 25% Gamay from the same parcel, a great combination and perfect in large format.
