Max I Joseph. Brewed in 2006 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Kingdom of Bavaria, this beer is everything you’d expect from the legendary Brauhaus Tegernsee. Clearer than a mountain spring and with a glorious straw gold colour, you’re invited in for one of the most thristquenching sips you’ll ever take. Citrus and grass make up the aroma, with the flavour harbouring clean malts, grass and a little more citrus. There’s little more hop bitterness than you might expect from a Helles but it’s beautifully in tune with the rest of this glorious beer!
