The Trappist brewery “Engelszell” is the youngest in the very traditional history of Trappist beer, which so far has its home mainly in Belgium, the Netherlands and France. The monks of Engelszell have decided on the path of expressive Trappist beers, but fortunately they are going a self-confident independent path in the regional solidarity (anchoring). In the composition of their beers, they are inspired by the unique natural landscape around the monastery, just as they want to express their ethical and ecological responsibility for people and nature with the selection of raw materials from the regional environment.
