Still, Good News About The Chocolate Orange. This big birthday stout was brewed back in Oct 2019 on Brew Cavern’s 5th birthday to sleep in bourbon barrels for a year till their 6th birthday. Dark malts and brown sugars combine with cacao nibs to add depth with a host of treacle, coffee and chocolate notes. After a year in barrels, the beer was left to condition even longer on fresh orange peel and whole vanilla pods to cut through and smooth out this beast of a beer.
